The lifespan of a smartphone before it's outdated is between 6 to 9 months due to the immense competitive market.

Autistic Boy Wrongly Tagged "Cheater"
11 year old Julius Jackson was wrongfully tagged a cheater on xbox live and his acheivments were all taken away because he is extremely proficient in gaming. His mother says he typically masters games within 2 to 3 days because he has no outside life due to his autism. His escape is Xbox Live where he can play games and socialize. One day he fired up the xbox and found all of his achievements were gone and the word cheater was under his username. Julius's mother attempted to correct the situation by contacting Microsoft but her attempts yielded no results.


Google Accuses Bing Of Cheating
Google accuses Bing of stealing search results from Google. To prove this point, Google setup a "Bing Sting" to catch Microsoft red handed, and Google claims it did. "Here's how it works: find a search term that returns no matches for either site, make a "honeypot" page manually appear for the term, then have about 20 Google employees make the search (and click the top link) using Internet Explorer with both Suggested Sites and the Bing Toolbar on. Within two weeks, Singhal claims, a handful (about 7 to 9) of the 100 or so "honeypot" results were popping up in Bing. Bizarre choices, too, like mbrzxpgjys, hiybbprqag, and indoswiftjobinproduction."


Internet Explorer Vulnerability Temporary Fix

Red Light Cameras Save Lives
A new study from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety shows in a new study that red light cameras save lives. Red light cameras at intersections in cities have cut accidents by a quarter according to the study.

New Digital Book maker Push Pop Press is looking to push the envelope on what ebooks can do. The new starup will be presenting the world with "a relatively new way of interacting with the media, centered on lots of hand gestures, pinching, and other actions now familiar to users of Apple's iOS devices."
