Real Life Holodeck Here We Come!
Microsoft is taking us one step closer to bridging the gap between fantasy and reality. If you're a fan of Star Trek, you'll recall the holodeck on Star Trek The Next Generation. For the uninitiated, the holodeck was an empty room on the Starship Enterprise where advanced holograms would transform the empty room into any environment or experience the characters on the show could imagine as seen in this video:
